Between 10 and 20 May Christians around the world are gathering as part of the 'Thy Kingdom Come' initiative to pray that their friends, families and neighbourhoods come to know Jesus Christ.
At All Saints’ we will join in this global wave of prayer by hosting a special event, The 40 Hours Prayer, between 10 and 13 May. All Saints’ Church will be open daily between 5:00am and 11:00pm throughout this time for a great prayer relay before the Lord Jesus.

What is The 40 Hours Prayer?
The 40 Hours Prayer is essentially an extended time of adoration, a prayer before the Lord present in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. In these hours of prayer we more intently implore God with the words ‘Thy Kingdom come’; as if to say, "come in our hearts and lives, come in our society and land, come to heal our wounds, and come to renew the Church."
The 40 Hours devotion begins with the celebration of the Eucharist on Thursday 10 May at 7:30pm. At the end of this Mass the Host is placed upon the altar for adoration. Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament takes place daily, as we are blessed by the One on which we have already been fed; Jesus, the bread of life.
You are very welcome to pray at church during the 40 Hours for as long or as little as you wish. If you’d like to be a steward during the prayer relay, helping to keep the church open, contact the Parish Office or Father Diego. And if you can’t physically join us in prayer send us your prayer requests, and help us intercede for you.
