Learning about the Faith and about Christian practices is a key part of being a disciple of Jesus. At All Saints' we take Christian learning seriously hosting study groups, talks, and training sessions throughout the year.
Discipleship and Courses
Special seasons of the Christian year provide perfect opportunities for “going deeper into God” - like attending Advent or Lent courses. In addition to these, we also offer other discipleship groups to help people in learning about the Faith.
Gospel Reading Group
Every Wednesday from 11:00am at St Thomas' Informal Bible study exploring Sundays' gospel reading. The Bible study is preceded by Mass and Coffee Morning from 10:00am.
Themed Study
These are stand-alone sessions featuring shared readings, talks, and free conversations on a chosen topic or aspect of the Faith. Meetings last about an hour.
Formation for Ministry
Learning is an essential component of ministry. We host study days to complement ministerial formation for lay and ordained people.
'The aim of all Christian education is to train the believer in an adult faith that can make him a "new creation", capable of bearing witness to the Christian hope.'
