Why Giving?
Giving is an essential part of being Christian.
As followers of Jesus we should commit to praying daily, participating at Mass at least once a week, and studying our faith; in the same way we should also commit to giving in a way that is Regular (weekly or monthly), Generous and Sacrificial (not just from our surplus). Please remember, your regular gift to All Saints' is essential for ensuring our committed service to the people of Houghton Regis, North Dunstable, Bidwell West, and Linmere, and for preserving All Saints' unique heritage for future generations.

All Saints' costs about £220 to run daily. This figure takes in consideration the money we have to contribute to the Diocese of St Albans (called "Common Fund", about £50k p/a), the costs of utility bills (about £17k p/a), insurance, and administration. Notably, the figure does not include any money spent on restoration, upkeep of services, and mission. Each of you must give as you have decided in your heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. - 2 Corinthians 9:7 |
